Little tip

If you change the position of the custom cursor to reflect the mouse offset (your cursor clicks in the middle, not the top-left) then it has better control and is a better emulation. Then when mouse moves you move along with it. Otherwise quite a good tutorial for the beginner.

Ah! SHe's bald!

Does she have luekemia? Where's the button to get her nude?

Are you sure it isn't "tumor?"

Aside from spelling, it was drab and bland, and it sounded horrible.

It just wasn't that good

Sound quality was bad, and the clips weren't exactly all board-worthy. It wasn't pretty either. Bonus for content, though.

i gotta say im disapointed in the review but thanks anyway

I hate having to press "PLAY" after every level. Sure, I could press 'Enter' once I moved to it, but at least let me know I could do that. People need to know. Plus, it wasn't that fun. And what about the music?

Nothing too new or interesting

But I like it. This type of game has been around. In fact, there was an example .fla on flashkit or a similar site that people were submitting to the portal a few weeks after it appeared there. But the idea is even older than flash.

However, this added much o the idea. First, the avoid objects don't move in strictly lines so they can curve all around the stage. This adds to the unpredictablity and challenge. The power-ups are simple yet useful. And the colors and design are superb. Excellent job.

Question:

Why was Will so mad at Cartman?
But seriously, very funny take on the evil that is Will Smith. Welcome to the New Willenium, bitch!

ANYwho, there was nice detailing without making the graphics too rich (and thus sacrificing performance to some). Sound was great. Funny storyline. Controls worked quite well.
Jowever, the game was a little easy once you figured out how to play it, and I beat it on the first time. I don't know how much replay value this has. Maybe make a multistage version (it seems like you have a small enough filesize right now to do that) and perhaps minigames.

Any Easter Eggs in here?

Great tutorial.

Well, volume control, nice crisp interface. Covers the basics well with good descriptions and examples. I'd explain the code a little more though, like another step for "in depth."

Look at the code for the NG preloader. Basically, you stop the flash and check the number of bytes in the movie against the number of bytes already loaded, then play (at about 95% just in case the last few bits hang).

bloodragon1 responds:

Ya i tried to put most of the basic stuff in im thinking of making a Sequal to it or another version and explaining how to amke a preloader and i shall explain the script THX for the review.

Great!

Nice job! It was only a matter of time. Of course you chose the right music. Nice BG images. crude and funny at the same time. I like the pooping, too.

FLiXD responds:

Everybody likes the pooping

Poor

The way the layers are done is very poor. some objects that you would expect to be hidden by others are actually on top of them.

A review isn't useful unless you give the submission a 10.
